How it plays

You pick a race, put miners on gold, wood or meat, and build spawners that send units down lanes at the enemy headquarters. Every spawner has an upgrade tree behind it, and the branch you take changes what the unit does and what it looks like. Towers hold ground. Heroes anchor a push. The match ends when a headquarters falls, or at thirty minutes when sudden death decides it.

The nine races are not reskins. Demon and Wild have no gold economy at all. Oozlings spawn two units at a time and never get lane control. Geists towers die into graves that hold their ground and rise again at full health. Tenders towers grow stronger the longer they stand. Working out what a race can and cannot do is most of the game.

What is in it

Nine races

Crown, Horde, Goblins, Oozlings, Demon, Deep, Wild, Geists, Tenders. Each has 21 units, 3 heroes, its own resource economy, and a race ability with its own upgrade path.

Upgrade trees

216 nodes. Each spawner branches twice, and every branch changes the unit's stats, its abilities and its art. Tier three is where siege units live.

Online play

1v1 through 4v4, co-op against bots or straight PvP, joined with a party code. Deterministic lockstep, so every client runs the same match.

Bots worth playing

Four difficulties. Nightmare concentrates its army into one lane, hires heroes on a measured schedule, researches to counter what you built, and plays for sudden death.

Maps with teeth

Sixteen maps with gates to break, watchtowers to hold, altars to capture, and neutral camps that level up each time you clear them.

Talking to your team

Pings and quick chat that your bot allies actually obey. Player profiles, match history, achievements, and avatars you unlock by winning.

Free means free

There is no store, no currency, no energy timer, and no advertising SDK in the build. Nothing is held back behind a purchase, because there is nothing to purchase. Online play needs a connection. Everything else, including all nine races and every match against bots, runs offline.
